November Nine kicks off Saturday at Noon PDT
Saturday, November 6th, 2010The WSOP November Nine kicks off Saturday at Noon. This year’s WSOP Main Event, while pro heavy, has a lot of interesting storylines that have emerged. The two big stories at the final table are the chip leader, Jonathan Duhamel and the headlining pro, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.
Jonathan Duhamel is this years November Nine chip leader heading into play Saturday. While he doesn’t own thechipleader.com like Dennis Phillips, he has made headlines for making a Joe Namath like guarantee for the final table. He has essentially told the media that he is 100% to take the event down and that he is the best there is, the best there was, and the best that ever will be. Ok, maybe he didn’t pull a Bret Hart, but he did guarantee that he would 100% win. Duhamel starts with 65,975,000 in chips.
Michael Mizrachi is easily the biggest name at the final table. He finally got the monkey off his back and won his first WSOP bracelet earlier in the year. In addition, he is in position to tie for Player of the Year should he take the event. He does have a tough task ahead of him with just 14.45 Million in chips at the start of play.
Here are the final nine participants and their starting chip counts:
Seat 1. Jason Senti 7,625,000
Seat 2. Joseph Cheong 23,525,000
Seat 3. John Dolan 46,250,000
